The Museum of the National Architecture and Every Day Life poses
alfresco architectural- country complex of all ethnographical
regions of Ukraine. The museum was founded in settlement Pirogovo
that is suburb of Kiev in 1969. In the territory of more than
150 hectares almost 300 architectural exhibits are disposed.
The first visitors were welcomed by the museum in 1976. The
exhibits performed in the museum familiarize visitors with architecture
of Ukrainian villages, peasant everyday life and Folk art of
Ukrainians. The symbol of grain growing Ukraine became hill
with windmills. The great collection of national clothes, furniture,
wooden and brown wares, male and female clothes, one of the
best collections of folk music instruments are shown in the
museum |
